"I'm a stranger now, in my own hometown. I've been away so long, they've forgotten all my songs"

I stayed in Rexburg a little bit longer than I wanted so I could clean apartments. I'll admit I was a little nervous about making the drive home all alone, but I think I overlooked the perks. I didn't have anyone tying me down, expecting me at a certain time, I could go where I wanted, when I wanted, and had pleeenty of time to think.
I stopped at some Ma and Pa diner and ordered a piece of Pie. (I think I was in Montana, I really have no clue... ) Reeses peanut butter cream. What was I thinking? I hate peanut butter. Then again there were only 3 flavors to choose from, so what can a girl do? Anywho, I ate my pie, (or most of it) left my tip, and left a note. I've always wanted to leave my life story written on a napkin in a diner in the middle of nowhere, so that's just what I did. True story. I thanked my waiter Josh for the pie, told him he had a warm smile and summed my life up in a few sentences. Check that off the bucket list.

And you'll neeeever know what it said :)
I drove home thinking I'd surprise my brother for his birthday only to find an empty house. No one answered their phone, and it remained empty with the exception of my lovely self until 1:00 pm the next day. Apparently my family was camping. Great surprise. haha jokes on me.
For the record, you know you're in Montana if:
-The only wildlife you see are cows, deer, and unidentifiable roadkill.
-You pass decked out bikers on the freeway only to notice they are not on bikes, but rather unicycles. Skill.
-Your reading pleasure is limited to disturbing Meth billboards and advertisements for the "testicle festival" (What's that you ask? Good question. I've never been, it's on the bucket list.)
-You pay $4 for a piece of pie that is at least a week old.
-You get a speeding ticket... charge= $20. Oh Montana, Sorry you finally got a speed limit.
-The skies.... they really are breathtaking.
It's good to be home.
