Blog Image Issues.

Pretty sure that if blog images (as seen on my sidebar) could have a period, it's happening. There are some serious issues up in here. I'm trying to get the kinks worked out, but in the meantime: Patience is a virtue! I'll just be over here trying to fix this shiz and acting like a totally mature adult :)

Who has a phone with a large glass screen and has not dropped it face down at least a million times only to gingerly pick it up, and pray the screen was not shattered. I have an Otterbox for that reason, but anyone with eyes should know that those cases are not the cutest.  Fear not fellow klutz's for I have found our solution! Behold, yet another DIY to add to the millions on the world wide web!

Bed-wetter.

That's right, I said it. Bed. Wetter. I'll admit that I was one a night or two. It's probably for that reason that I find this product that I've recently run across SO cool!  I usually don't openly do product reviews just for kicks and giggles, but when I see something really worthwhile, I can't help but share it! 

It's called StayMade and it's an innovative form of children's bedding. At first when I saw it, it looked like just an ordinary sleeping bag to me, but I was so wrong! It's a full blown  comforter with sheet inserts. Here's the part that got me though: there are specific water-proof inserts that you can literally just swap out in the groggy morning hours when jr. has a accident. I'm not a parent, but this is so cool.  Even better, I HATE, LOATHE, and DESPISE making beds and with these you are one zip away from done! Freaking sweet. Make them for queen sized beds please? (Even thought I don't wet the bed... anymore. Ever. Really!!!)

That's cool Val..... And? 

The reason I bring this up is because in order to really get this product out there, the company needs backing, and because I want one of these someday, I want them on the shelves!!! 

At first I thought, who has extra money to spare? I'm paying for gas in change! But it's not like that. You make a contribution and in return you receive the product in different forms for much cheaper than what they are worth. It's cool, and I wanted to share it with you time-crunched mommies of the world!

Back to School

You guys! As of this week I am a real, bonafide teacher! (sorta). I've got a classroom, a teaching mentor, a name tag... it's all pretty legit stuff; minus the salary. The only thing missing is obviously, the back to school outfit below :) Nothing like a pair of Doc Martens and a Hogwarts shirt to make one feel all scholarly. And, though I could probably spend all day drooling over the sleek leather-crafted shoes on the Dr. Martens website, I actually have papers to grade!!! Growing up is quite the business of priorities. That doesn't mean I will close that particular browser just yet however;) Happy Weekend!
